Cyber Bullying

The movie about her life dealing with cyber bullying not only showed me how things really worked with cyber bullying online, but also showed that you can always over come it. I thought the movie was a good learning movie because its not just straight information after information its a documentary so it keep a lot of people wanting to know what happens next while learning how to deal with online bullying and seeing how it happens. A lot of things stuck out to me in how we learned a lot of the things that Taylor was told not to do and how to resolve it in our class. Tings like "Do not become the bully yourself." And "Print it out and tell and adult." Those are the three most common things everyone should know. Also if you are being bullied speak up don't just stop after you tell an adult and its still happening. keep speaking up. Because even though your online and not face to face to the person, it can still hurt them in a lot of ways. The victim can suffer from depression, physical problems like headache and sickness, and even suicidal thought. a lot of kids have been found dead because of other people deciding to be rude and mean, and other just join in thinking there is nothing wrong with calling someone a name or spreading rummer. A rummer is just a lie. We all know we are not supposed to lie. So why do bullies continue to spread rummer's? The best thing you can do is speak up and tell someone print it out and call attention to it.

The meaning of Netiquette

Netiquette is the rules to behaving online. you need to be respectful and polite even when you feel like the person your talking to does not deserve your kindness. If you decide to be rude to someone online it not only affects the other person feeling wise, but what you but online out there for the world to see can affect you too in the long run. It can come back to haunt you and you will regret it. A good example of using Netiquette correctly is when you see on Facebook or any other website, that someone is getting bullied, you either tell an adult or tell the bully that they are not being nice and that everyone in the situation should just calm down. An example of poor Netiquette is seeing someone being hurt and not saying anything or being the bully yourself. its not something to be proud of t=it can hurt more then just one other person including yourself.

Copyrihgt

To me copy right is something that everyone takes very serious now a days. Most people don’t really think that if they find a picture on the internet that they can just clam is as their own without having to do anything but copy and paste. After reading an article i have realized that there is only one way that you can use something for yourself that is not yours. You must as permission and site your source. I know it seems like a lot to ask someone if you can use their song or if you can use a photo they took that you love so much. You must as if you can use it because it is against the law to do that.

Copyright Case: Vanilla Ice vs Queen & Bowie

In 1990 the famous song "Under Pressure" was the beat to another well known song "Ice Ice Baby" Vanilla Ice had taken the beat to the song changed the words and thought he would have a hit song, till people caught on. The case was never brought up in court but Vanilla was forced to pay a extreme amount of money.

My Country

So I know this might sound weird but I have this weird obsession with anything do to with the United Kingdom! I know weird right? well in school we had to do a project about a country and i of course picked England! I had so much fun with this project. My favorite part was getting to pick the places we wanted to visit. i already knew a few places because i am a freak about it, but i loved seeing new places like the "Alexandra Palace", which is best known for London's warp tour. It was kinda hard to find out history about the United Kingdom though, just because every website i went to had different information or had nothing to do with England at all. I loved getting to show the class about this country , because again im in love with it! mostly because of its music background and the place itself. i think the strongest point for me in this project was showing my visiting places. When showing the places i wanted to visit i had so much fun because i wanted to talk about it, i wanted to go there and i want to see everything there.

Just why?

Okay guys so lets see first we had the ipod then the iphone. now we have so many we cant even keep track of them. there are at least 10 different versions of the ipod and 6 different versions of the iphone and then of course you have to get your case that suits you am i right? Don't get me wrong when i say i want an iphone but the amount of different kinds is ridiculous! Now the case... its wonderful you can show it off say you have to coolest one things like that. Today i read an article about a case that makes it so no one will want to take your phone and use it without asking or just take it and play games on it with out you knowing about it. introducing the lobster case! WHAT!!! you heard me right! there is now a case that looks like a real life sized lobster so no one will want to touch it. i honestly laughed. like why would anyone want that? its so unnecessary  someone had a little bit to much time on there hands. am i right? The inventor Gorham also wanted to show that this case is more of the fact showing your different from other people when you use this iphone case. I dont know but i mean if i had an iphone i would so use this case! Here's the link so you can check it out!
